Voldra is a game asset search engine. We are committed to keeping your experience private and transparent. We do not require account creation, and we collect minimal data to operate the service.
What We Collect
- Search queries — We log the search terms you enter in order to improve search quality and understand how the service is used. Search queries are not linked to any personal identity.
- Click-through data — When you click through to a marketplace listing, we record which asset was clicked and its position in the search results. This helps us measure result relevance.
- Hashed IP addresses — Your IP address is hashed using a one-way cryptographic function (SHA-256) before being stored. This is used solely for rate limiting and counting unique visitors. We do not store raw IP addresses, and the hash cannot be reversed to identify you.
- Basic analytics — We use Vercel Analytics to collect standard, anonymous web analytics such as page views, referrer URLs, and device type. This data is aggregated and does not personally identify you.
What We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, or any account information.
- We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising.
- We do not sell, share, or provide any data to third parties.
- We do not track you across other websites.
Third-Party Services
When you click through to an asset on a marketplace, you leave Voldra and are subject to that marketplace's privacy policy. We have no control over how third-party marketplaces handle your data.
We use Vercel for hosting and analytics. Vercel's privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy.
Data Retention
Search and click-through logs are retained indefinitely to support ongoing search quality improvements. Since these logs contain no personally identifiable information, they pose no privacy risk.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Voldra after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
